– It’s been a year! How have you been? I’ve been VERY, very busy. But I’ve also been eager to return to making Korrasami fan comic, and I’m hoping that I’ll be able to post a new one every month or so going into 2018. Thanks so much for being patient! And if you’d like to help me make more Korrasami comics please check out my Patreon and become a patron!

– So a new Korrasami comic, but with no Korra or Asami? Sorry! I wanted to do a comic about Korrasami fandom. Not the real fandom (although this does kind of reflect that, but that fandom that must exist in the Avatar world. Korra is the Avatar, a figure that is known and loved by nearly everyone. There’s likely not a more famous person in the world! Asami has to be a close runner up for fame, especially in Republic City. As the daughter of one of the world’s premier industrialists and inventors who is now everything her father was and a famed adventurer to boot Asami surely has quite a following of her own. lus she’s teh world’s most stylish woman! Can you imagine the fandom that must exist around these two? I mean, remember Bolin’s crazy bounty hunter fans from Book 3? I bet Korra and Asami fans make them look tame!

For example, looking through the official art book I found some designs for an Amon fan girl. I can’t remember if we see her in the show, but the idea was that she’d show up to Equalist rallies in an Amon shirt and hoot and holler and fangirl-out. According to the art book later on she did show up as a Fire Ferrets fan, complete with Korra cosplay. So thats her in the blue here in this comic (in Korra cosplay, because who doesn’t cosplay for a casual fan club meeting?). Any fan who starts out as an Equalist and then becomes a Korra fan is going to be nuts! I picked the other two characters out of the art books as well. The lady in green is a rabid Wolfbat fan from Season 1, although I imagine that watching the Fire Ferrets climb the ranks made her a Korra fan. I also think that she admires Asami’s fashion sense. The Airbender is of course one of Tenzin’s new recruits from Season 3/4. She had a chance to meet both Korra and Asami first hand.

Originally this was going to be Jinora’s Korrasami fan fiction club, an extension of her fan story from my very first Korrasami comic. But as I was working out the dialogue I realized that Jinora is a little too young to be part of this “Avatar Korra and Ms. Sato Appreciation Society”, even if it is supposed to be an all ages group and even if Jinora gets super flustered every time she watches Korra workout.
